I gave a pre-quarter presentation to incoming graduate students on the current impact of ChatGPT in undergraduate writing classes. We discussed some strategies for working with it in the classroom as well as a variety of syllabus policy statements ranging from syllabi encouraging use of ChatGPT to others forbidding it completely.
